SonoRoundtable is a collaborative educational program focused on emergency ultrasound fellows and advanced ultrasound users. Run by a group of emergency ultrasound fellowship directors, we cover a diverse series of fellow and advanced level topics for future ultrasound leaders. Topics include clinical ultrasound applications, educational theory and processes, research methodology, administration and program oversight, and advocacy. All of the content and meetings on SonoRoundtable are available to fellows and fellowship programs free of charge in the spirit of FOAMed.
SonoRoundtable features a live interactive ultrasound fellowship grand rounds program. We use a state-of-the-art web conferencing platform that allows participants to access the live online discussion from anywhere using a computer or mobile device. Using a roundtable and panel discussion format, participants obtain information and training from national experts on a wide variety of topics. This approach leads to interactive discussions about cutting edge and controversial topics.
In addition to live online meetings, educational resources can be found on our website. Ongoing discussions and projects include level clinical US cases and techniques, educational topics, research and current literature reviews, administrative pearls and pitfalls, as well as up to date political and advocacy issues. Future plans include collaborative educational, administrative, and research projects.
Our team is comprised of fellowship directors and emergency ultrasound experts with a wide range of experience and interests. Each individual has shown commitment to education and leadership in the field. Take a look at the team behind SonoRoundtable.
